Trafford Titans continue to rule the Stockport girls leagues; recently winning all-Trafford finals at under 19s and under 15s and our youngest girls team also reached the under 13s final. The incredible success is down to the hard work of our girls and our brilliant girls coaches; Ciaran, Debbie, Nathan, William, Zac and Tilly.

Whilst we’re proud of the success we have in the Stockport leagues, the biggest win is the number of girls that are playing basketball. The girls programme started in 2017 and in recent years, coaches Nathan, Zac, Ciaran and Debbie have taken it to the next level. According to recent Basketball England figures, Trafford BC have overtaken well-established National League clubs to have the largest girls programme in the North West of England. We now have girls only basketball on Friday nights and Sundays, providing a great environment for the players.

One thing the girls love is being coached by the older players such as Abie, Isla, Orla, Lexie, Susie, Tilly, Liz and Nina! Not only are our older girls amazing role models, they are ensuring that the future of the club is in great hands, continuing to grow the girls game.
